Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 May 2026
This policy describes how Muslim Content Coach ("MCC", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to mc-uni.com. MCC is operated by Abid Kamal as an enterprise registered in the United Arab Emirates. We take privacy seriously and only collect what we need to run the offer page and our consultation booking.
1. What we collect
1.1 When you visit mc-uni.com
For every page view we record:
- An anonymous Visitor ID. Your IP address is hashed at the edge with a daily-rotating secret salt before it is stored. The raw IP address is never written to our analytics storage. The resulting Visitor ID is a 16-character anonymous hash that changes every 24 hours, so the same person cannot be tracked across days.
- Approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP at our edge network. We do not store precise GPS coordinates beyond this city-level approximation.
- Device and browser information: browser type, device type, screen size, language preference, time zone.
- Page engagement: pages viewed, scroll depth (in 25% milestones), time on page, video watch progress, button clicks, referrer.
- A short-lived session identifier stored in your browser's
sessionStorage. This identifier is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab.
Aside from the advertising tools described in section 1.3 below, we do not place additional marketing cookies on this site.
1.3 Advertising and conversion measurement (Meta Pixel)
This site uses the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. When you visit mc-uni.com, the Meta Pixel may:
- set and read a first-party
_fbpcookie in your browser; - send Meta limited event data — such as pages viewed, whether you click the booking button, and whether you complete a consultation booking — together with your IP address and browser/device information.
Meta processes this data as an independent or joint controller under its own Data Policy. You can manage or withdraw ad personalisation in your Meta ad preferences, and you can block these cookies via your browser settings or a tracker-blocking extension.
1.2 When you book a free consultation
The consultation booking button takes you to Calendly. The information you submit to Calendly (such as your name, email address, and optionally phone number) is collected and processed by Calendly under their own privacy policy. Calendly forwards this information to MCC for the purpose of scheduling and conducting your consultation. Refer to Calendly's privacy notice for their handling of your data.
2. Why we collect it
- To measure how visitors engage with the offer page so we can improve it.
- To detect and filter abusive traffic (automated bots, scrapers).
- To schedule and prepare for your consultation call (if you choose to book one).
3. How long we keep it
Analytics events are stored on a rolling cap of 50,000 records. Once the cap is reached, the oldest events are automatically removed as new ones come in. Visitor ID hashes are unique to a single calendar day; once the salt rotates, the previous day's hashes cannot be matched to new events.
Booking and consultation information held by Calendly is retained according to Calendly's retention policy and our own records of the consultation conversation.
4. Who has access
Only MCC and our technical operators access our first-party analytics data. We do not sell, rent, or lease your information. We do share limited advertising-event data with Meta for conversion measurement and retargeting, as described in section 1.3.
4.1 Third-party services we use
The website relies on the following service providers, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- Vercel — hosting and edge functions. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Upstash — Redis storage for analytics events. See Upstash's privacy policy.
- Calendly — consultation scheduling. See Calendly's privacy notice.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — advertising and conversion measurement (Meta Pixel). See Meta's Data Policy.
5. Your rights
If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with comparable data protection law, you have rights including:
- The right to be informed about what we collect and why (this policy).
- The right of access to data we hold about you.
- The right to request rectification of inaccurate data.
- The right to request erasure of your data.
- The right to object to or restrict processing.
- The right to data portability where applicable.
- The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK: the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).
6. Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
